At The One Day School
Do you and your families know about the One Day School™ ?
Our Open Day is a half day 'taster' session for families and students to see what happens at One Day School - and teachers are welcome as well!
We would like to offer you the opportunity for your gifted/more able students to experience first hand what One Day School is like………..
A half day, hands on learning experience, like those offered in the One Day School programme.
Where: Owairaka Primary School, 113 Richardson Road, Mt Albert, Auckland
When: Saturday 24 March 2012

· 9.30am – 12pm - 6-8yrs
· 12.30pm - 3pm - 9-12yrs
Cost: $35.00 per family

Family Fun Fridays for Tennis in February
Would you like to join like-minded families for casual community tennis? Can’t face cooking dinner on Friday?
Come along to the club with your family This Friday and enjoy some relaxed, casual play with your children and other families.
The BBQ will be available, with sausages available to buy, BYO salad and plates for a shared meal. The bar may open if there is enough interest!
Bring along friends who are not members, this is a great chance to meet members and get into tennis!
cost: Free to members – your smiles and your time at the end to help tidy up :)

Clevedon Paddling Club’s Muddy Cup 2012 Sunday 11th March, 10am onwardsJoin us for the 2nd Muddy Cup held on the Wairoa River, Clevedon (next to fire station) We have a huge range or races to suit all levels, so give it a go, it’s a fun family event! Long Legs!Cruising Down the River – a social race of around 5km return.By Hell or High Water – for those of you who think you have what it takes. Around 16km return.$15 per person, buoyancy vests compulsory. Singles or tandem boats ! 4 Up Relay - Compete in a team of four, with kayaks, buoyancy aids and paddles provided by the club. Clevedon Scout Group – Camp Sladdin
Thorpes Quarry Rd, Clevedon
Scouts New Zealand are looking for any 5 ½ -7 ½ year old boys and girls who would like to become part of a world wide organisation providing prgrammes for children. We start at 5 ½ in the Kea Section and at 7 ½ we become cub scouts. At 10 ½ we become Scouts . We are starting a new kea club with new leaders and already have a few keas who we know would love to have more join them each Wednesday to share their fun and learn new things.
We would also like to meet with any parents interested in Scouting. We are holding a special evening on Wednesday evening at 6.30 - 29th February when we will give you more information on our Organisation. Calling all women running small rural businesses!
Entries are now open for the RWNZ Enterprising Rural Women Award 2012. This is a great opportunity to promote your business and be recognised for your work. Past entrants and winners have received extensive publicity in the media, helping to boost sales and raise awareness of their business.
This year the categories include the Telecom North Island Award, the Access Homehealth South Island Award and the Fly Buys Online Business Award, as well as the Supreme award. Junior Golf After-School Programme – Term 1
At Maramarua Golf Club, every Tuesday this term. Start time is 3.15/3.30 until 5.15pm with equipment available for use free of charge.
Come along, bring a friend… the first three visits are free! The Maramarua Golf Club is a great Local facility and we provide Professional Coaching on a weekly basis, starting Tuesday 7th February, with plenty of time to practice skills.
Fees are subsidised by Youthtown making golf both Accessible and Affordable to everyone.
