WOW .... It's Term Three already!!!
Time does fly when you are having ...

This term the pride value we are focusing on is Diversity. Room 14 has had lots of discussions around this and believe that it is important to treat everyone equally, with respect and accept who they are. We understand that everyone is different and our aim is to learn more about each other and our cultures.

This relates very well to our topic this term .... Celebrating Cultures: We all smile in the same language!

This term our Integrated Studies topic is related to cultures and countries around the world. This links well with something really special that is happening .... YES .... you guessed right .... The Rugby World Cup!!!

Rugby World Cup

Well as you know ... England is Auckland's second adopted country ... but here at school each class has another country to support! In our last School Assembly our class captains had to pick out a country from a hat! Room 14's country is ... France!!!

We are really excited about France ... because it is a very interesting country and we can't wait to learn more about it! We already know how to say hi ... Bonjour!
